A year has gone.

The year 2008 has been a great year to me.

I've done things I haven't done before.
I learned things I never knew before.
I met people whom I haven't seen before.
I've been to places I haven't heard before.

All these has been a great experience to me. I'm learning each day and I hope that I will be able to learn and experience much more things in life. Life is so damn short. It's always now or never. And to the people around me, thanks for all the memories we shared.

Lastly, my wish to all :)
Happy New Year!

With lurve,
Jo Lyn :)

Bored.

Guess this is what I do when I'm bored. Sit in front of the computer doing almost nothing except at times to clear some stuffs. I don't plan to work because my results will be out in January next year which is real soon, and then I planned to start of with my course. No more wasting time. No more! I rested enough already. Haha. The more I rest, the more lazy I will be. Oh ya, just sitting here I realised how close is it to start off a new year. I'm happy and looking forward to what comes ahead. There are actually a few things that I want to accomplish in the year 2009. To climb Mount Kinabalu is probably one of them right now. I actually saw some old men and even old ladies who successfully climb the mountain. How they managed to? That was a suprise to me. It was! All this while I thought, only people who are in their 20s or 30s or 40s climb but I was wrong. I salute them for their determination. It is not easy although it seems to look as it is. Then I thought to my self, if they can do it, why not me? Even, Kenny Sia had climbed already. If I can't do it in the year 09' then I shall wait for the years ahead.

Moving on, just a rondom shot of me and Wai Han.This picture was taken a month ago I think. We LOVE our teeth. Definitely! Thank you Mum for forcing us to brush our teeth when we were young. :)

Happy reading people.

My Vacation (Part 3)

This is the streets in Kota Kinabalu(city) at night.

Day 5My mum.
My dad.
The pink gang?Tanjung Aru beach.

Say cheeze!!!
That's the spoon to scoop the coconut flesh. Innovative.
It's all about coconut. We looked tired.

I did enjoy myself. Indeed, it was a great experience visiting Sabah although most of us fell sick during the trip and had tummy-upset. I did not buy back anything except a simple bangle. Something like that. Friends, if you like the nature rather than shopping, Sabah is the place to be. There are jungles and islands. So, anyone, Sabah?

That's all :) These pictures tell it all. As it is, a picture tells a thousand word. So, yeah.
Happy reading.

Adious.

My Vacation (Part 2)

Day 3This is Mount Kinabalu. We were pretty lucky to get a chance to look at the peak because usually, in the month of December the clouds would be thick. And, we had to wake up around
6.00 am. Its bright there at 6.
This is a chimney!
Some parts of the peak of Mount Kinabalu. Apparently, at different angles you see different shapes. Which other mountains in Malaysia do you see its peak which is rocky? Tell me :)
A family portrait. Nice weather. Cooling but not freezing.
I don't know what plant is this called. This place is known as Rose Garden.
Just having fun.
At the Crocodile Farm. Oh oh.. I saw hunch-back crocodiles. But, I don't think we took any pictures. Very 'kesian' when you actually see them.My favourite picture. I forgot the name of this bridge. Mini SanFransico bridge. It really does look something like that.

Day 4
This is Gaya Street. Some people call this place Sunday market. Something like KL's Petaling Street. Very crowded on that day.
Unique right? This picture was taken in the wildlife park.
Clever orangutan. Her name is Marsha. She was actually donated by a person who kept her as a pet. This is Mowgli. He is only the male orangutan among the others. How lucky :)

Day 5- updating soon. Saving the last. Happy reading people. It's hard work updating these pictures. Haha.
Adious.

My Vacation (Part 1)

Day 1
At LCCT, Sepang. This airport is rather simple. All AirAsia planes/airbus depart and arrive here.Me and my mum. Feeling a little dizzy. To my surprise, flying with AirAsia was not bad. Only the seats were uncomfortable.AirAsia.com
At the streets in Kota Kinabalu. The christmas decorations are not bad I can say. Look at the christmas tree behind :) Christmas here is quite a big event here since most Sabahans are Christians.Focus on the scenery. Its beautiful. I have thoughts of migrating to Sabah :)

Day 2 (The most exciting day)
On the way to Kinabalu Park, we stopped at this place where we can buy souvenirs. All the stalls mostly sell the same items, at the same price even after you tried hard bargaining. Some items are unique. What can I say? Preserve the nature for our future generations. This is not a 'copy and paste' from the internet. Haha.
This is part of the Canopy Walk in Kinabalu Park. I enjoyed it very much. I like it! Very tiring but fun. Good exercise.
What's this call? There's a word for it. My bro took this picture. Amazing.
A group picture. Wai Han walking. I was really scared walking on that 'thing'. As you walk, the 'thing' will shake. But, it was a great experience.
All of us are actually dipping our legs in the hot water. Natural hot water. This place is called Poring Hot Spring. Very relaxing.
Apparently, this is the source. As you go closer, you can see smoke coming out from the water.

That's all for the first 2 days. Will continue. Stay tuned :)

I'm back.

Hi there people!
I'm back from my holidays. A 5 days 4 nights stay at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. She's a great place to be. There was nothing much in the city but if you travel out, it will definitely bring you closer to nature. Trees, trees and more trees. Plus, the air is fresher. Stay tuned for more photos.

I want to climb a MOUNTAIN!

It sounds kinda weird right for hearing me say that I want to climb a mountain. Not exactly a mountain, a hill also sounds great to me. But, it's true. I just feel like going jungle trekking, look at trees, cross rivers and just enjoy the scenery. The last trip was back in primary 6. I really want something like that! I really do! I want something different. But, apparently we need to be very fit.

This picture has it all. A mountain behind and a lake too. It's breathtaking I tell you!

I'm not sure whether I get to climb a mountain someday, but I'm working on it. Just wait and see.

Quarantine.

I went to Times Square yesterday with my friends from college. Might be the last outing together with them after close to a year and a half. Haha, its true that we can always keep in touch and meet each other sometimes but at some point we might just lose touch of each other. That's the way it is most of the time. However, the memories to me will always remain. Always!
Not only in college but throughout my entire schooling days.

A friend of mine picked me up from home and then we headed to college to take a taxi. And then, off we were to Times Square. We went to Gasoline to take our lunch. Nahh I didn't eat, just took a cup of coffee. So, we decided to watch 'Quarantine' and it was my idea to watch that movie. However, it turned out to be just okay. Nothing spectacular. It's quite scary here and there. Dont get me wrong, Quarantine is not a ghost story. And... after 5 minutes of watching that movie, I began to get dizzy. Real dizzy. The camera was shaking almost the entire movie. But anyways, its ok. So sorry guys for choosing that movie :) I didn't know. Took a bus back to college. It was a long, long journey. Of course-lah, public transport. I hate traffic jams in KL. Stress giler.
If only there were more buses, trains and less cars on the road. Just imagine! :)

Oh ya, what do YOU usually do during the holidays to keep time moving? As it is, I'm getting bored already. I feel like I'm too free and I miss being busy:)

The Heart.

I learnt and realised something yesterday.
I now believe that the HEART never lies. And, it is much stronger than you think :)
You might think that yes, sometimes we must not follow our feelings, heart and use the brain instead, but now I believe that somehow what we truly feel is what saves us. It just happened to me yesterday. I do not know how to put this in words or explain.. But, I now know and trust my heart. May be not all the time, but most of the time :)

Moving on, I went to a Gala Concert, organised by Persatuan Chopin Malaysia. It was the 3rd ASEAN International Chopin Competition, held first time in Malaysia. The pianist were from Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam and not forgetting our beloved country, Malaysia. All of them were so good. So good! Haha.. I watched how some of them moved their heads while playing with full of emotion.Whoa.It's all classical music. My favourite was Randy Ryan from Indonesia. He is a young boy but played so well. His piece was J.S Bach-Piano Concerto in F minor BMV 1056-2nd and 3rd movement. He's cute too. Gu Jingdan from China was good too. Nice place, nice music, nice concert.

Guess that's all for today :)

I'm free.

Finally, I have completed my exams and also my A-Levels. Such a relief. I guess I will be very free now. Anyways, have your heard the song ' You make it real ' by James Morrison? I just love the song. He has great voice don't you think so? I thought of buying his latest cd. Reviews on this cd was particularly good. Should I? Or should I just continue listening to his music by just downloading them? Argggh.. can I get that as my christmas present since christmas is coming :) Please, Santa Claus.. Haha.. ok ok stop being so childish.

This is him. At some parts he looks like Chris Martin from Coldplay right?

A little too much.

I felt like crying while doing my maths paper today. Its was so difficult and I do not have enough time to actually do it properly. Probably Cambridge purposely change the standard. Its getting harder though. Past year questions seem so much easier. So, those who thinks A-levels is easy.. Haha.. better change your perception.

But I did give my best and hopefully I fair okay. You know how it feels when you work so damn hard for something you want badly right? So , I have 12 days break before the next paper.

Actually, in the first place I am not sure why I did A levels. All I know is that I didn't want to do STPM. So, here I am in TARC. Why I ended up there? Because its the nearest to my house, offers full 100% scholarship without the need of going through any interview. So why not?
All in, it is not too bad. Learnt a lot! And.. I did improve my Mandarin :)Whee!!Lecturers are good and the students there are of course mostly Chinese. I got quite afraid at the beginning because they are all so smart, hardworking (you know what I mean)

I met many people from different backgrounds. Sometimes, when we talk or discuss about some particular issues I kinda learnt a little because I feel that their way of thinking is totally the opposite of mine. I learnt to accept the very strange and opposite!
I normally hang out with a group of friends. Here's a pic!

(Ying Xin, Me, Cheah Yin, Swee Chin, Sin Yee)

(That's another friend of mine, Yong Xing)

They are all very nice people. Special in their own ways :) I do enjoy the times I spent with them.

So, that's all for now. There's nothing in my brain now. Its running dry. Ahha :)

The Script.

Hey.

Okay, I know " The Script " is recently the famous duo-Irish singers but the title here is actually my first script here.
This is my first post. I'm pretty new in blogging. I used to read blogs but never actually owned a page of my own. To me, its quite fun and interesting.

Exams are just next week. Will be finishing the whole course once I have completed those papers. Really looking forward for what's coming next. I will have holidays, sufficient rest and most important, I can do what I really want to do :)

I kinda know what I want to do but lets just wait till I get the results. Hopefully, everything goes well.

Since this is the first post, I want to keep it short.
Till then.
